To ensure overall system performance, a metal outer sheath should be used for fixation after installation to enhance pressure resistance and durability. For areas with higher insulation requirements, double or multi-layer structures can be used to improve effectiveness.

In practical engineering, maintaining tight seals at joints is crucial to prevent thermal bridging. Proper installation methods can effectively extend system life, allowing elastic felt to provide longer-lasting insulation in the LNG field.
